Police: Evidence supports some sex crimes allegations against Israeli actor Moshe Ivgy

Police have finished their sex crimes investigation against Moshe Ivgy – one of Israel’s most famous actors – and have found evidence to support some of the allegations against him.
In a statement on Thursday, the Israel Police said “there is evidence found in the investigation which substantiates the allegations of sexual assault and harassment by the actor Moshe Ivgy against three women he worked with, during which he exploited his superiority.”
The case will now be handed over to Haifa District prosecutors, who will decide how to proceed.
The allegations against Ivgy emerged in February, after a report in Walla stated that six women who formerly worked with the actor had accused him of sexual harassment, and that two had passed polygraph tests.
The statute of limitations has already passed on a number of the alleged incidents, but Ivgy could face charges in at least three cases.
