Police in north arrest 34 alleged dealers following 8 month undercover op

Following eight months of undercover work, a police agent posing as a drug dealer managed to bring down 34 dealers in northern Israel, Coastal District police reported on Tuesday.
The raids on Tuesday morning included 260 officers from the district, who hit houses and businesses in Haifa, the Krayot, Nesher, Nazareth, and Tamra.
Officers reportedly seized a large amount of various types of drugs as well as automobiles and cash belonging to the alleged dealers.
The raids came only a week after police from the northern branch raided houses in Carmiel, Kfar Kara, Dir al-Assad and elsewhere across the district, arresting 16 dealers following an undercover investigation by the northern branch of the YAMAR unit.
