Police investigating explosion at Islamic center in Minnesota

Police say there are no injuries from a blast Saturday morning at the Dar Al Farooq Islamic Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. Asad Zaman, the executive director of the Muslim American Society of Minnesota, said a $10,000 reward has been offered for information about the incident.
Bloomington Police Department says there are no injuries from the blast that was reported at about 5:05 a.m. at the Dar Al Farooq Islamic Center.
"When officers and fire personnel arrived, they found that there was some smoke and some damage to the building, but no one was injured," Bloomington's Police Chief Jeff Potts said at a news conference.
The FBI and the ATF are assisting in the investigation along with the Bloomington Police Department.
"The Dar Al Farooq Center has been the recipient of a lot of hate messaging and this is also consistent with the general prevalent attitude of Islamophobia that is being promoted," Zaman said.
