Police investigating incident that left two wounded in capital

Israeli police said Friday they would investigate a brawl that left two Israelis injured and hospitalized in Jerusalem.
Police rushed to a neighborhood on the Mount of Olives to disperse clashes that broke out between a group of Jewish worshippers – en route to the nearby Beit Orot yeshiva – and Arabs who live in the area.
A 24 year old was stabbed in his back with a wood plank with nails and a 21 year old was badly bruised in his head as a result of the confrontation.
They were evacuated to the capital's Shaare Zedek Medical Center for treatment.
Police opened an investigation into the incident, promising to continue its presence in Jerusalem and to respond "firmly and swiftly" to "every incident."
It reassured the public that it would not allow disturbances from "either side" and would address "without prejudice" anyone who broke the law.
