Jerusalem police arrested a city resident on Monday suspected of neglecting his son, driving dangerously and failing to follow police instructions. According to police, an officer spotted the suspect driving a moped in the Givat Shaul neighborhood with his two-year-old son seated on his lap. When the policeman asked the man to stop, the suspect allegedly put his son on the sidewalk and sped away from the scene. After a short chase he was arrested, and in his investigation told police that he was trying to avoid being fined.
