Police prevent illegal wedding of 13 year old haredi girl

Police units in Jerusalem prevented the wedding of a 13 year old girl, who had been reported missing for the last two months, from taking place Thursday night, according to a police spokesperson.
Police units entered the ultra-religious neighborhood of Meah Shearim, after information was gathered that an illegal wedding on a roof top was scheduled to take place.
Police detained four minors including the missing 13 year old and her mother, and two other women.
The girl had been reported missing by the father two months ago and held by the mother.
Police are investigating the incident and the circumstances.
