Police probe sexual harassment allegations against famed Israeli actor

Police have started probing sexual harassment allegations against famed Israeli actor Moshe Ivgy, they confirmed on Sunday, days after a report was published citing several women who accused him of abuse.
Last Wednesday, Israeli news site “Walla!” reported that six women who formerly worked with Ivgy said that he sexually harassed them, including at least two who had taken polygraph tests that asserted they were telling the truth.
The Walla article mentions one complainant who said Ivgy kissed her against her will during a private meeting ahead of shooting for a TV show she had been casted in with him. She said that days after she fought off his advances she was told that she had been removed from the cast of the show.
When the reports were published last week Ivgy said he is shocked by the allegations and that “I never in any way hurt a man or woman, my conscious is sound.”
