Police question Silvan Shalom on sex crimes allegations

Silvan Shalom was questioned under caution by police for two hours on Tuesday, as part of a probe into a sexual harassment allegation from 1998.
Police said Tuesday that "for two hours the minister gave his version of events about the incident in the complaint."
They added that the content of Shalom's testimony will be passed on to the Attorney General who will decide how to proceed with the case.
Shalom issued a strong denial on Monday evening, saying the allegations amount to "political assassination."
