Police raid antiquities stockpile in West Bank

Israeli Police and the IDF seized what they said was a stockpile of looted antiquities in West Bank town of Beit Ula near Hebron on Thursday.
In the stockpile there were dozens of ancient coins, jewelry, oil lamps, and ancient Judaica.
According to police, a team of archaeologists said the antiquities hail from the Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine and Middle Ages, with an estimated worth of tens of thousands of dollars.
The owner of the house, a man in his fifties, was arrested for questioning and will be brought to a military court on Thursday where authorities are seeking to extend his remand.
