Police report suspicious object found in Rehovot, believed to be explosive device

A preliminary examination by police raised the suspicion that the object was an explosive device.

Police received a report on a suspicious object located in a house on David Elazar Street in Rehovot, according to a police spokesperson.
Police confirmed an explosive device and are looking into the circumstances and into the background of the incident.
Police bomb disposal experts arrived at the scene and closed off the area.
Officers who were on scene at the house found the suspicious objects whereabouts.
