Police secure gag order on bomb found Sunday in Tel Aviv

An explosive device was found Sunday morning in north central Tel Aviv at the corner of Basil and Dizengoff streets, in what police believe could have possibly been part of a botched car bombing.
A special Tel Aviv police investigative task force on Sunday afternoon secured a gag order into the case, banning the publication of anything that may shed light on the suspects in the case or their method of operation.
The bomb was spotted by passersby about 9am Sunday, and after police shut down the area they discovered that it was in fact a real explosive device.
Police are now examining the possibility that the bomb was affixed to a car and fell off before it could be detonated.
