Police seize 7kg of hash in Beduin settlement

Border Police and officers from the Kiryat Gat police station arrested two residents of a Beduin settlement on suspicion of being in possession of seven kilograms of hash on Monday.
Officers, acting on intelligence, intercepted a vehicle heading south on Route 6 from the South to central Israel, which was followed by undercover officers from behind.
During the arrest, the unmarked police car blocked the suspects' vehicle and officers conducted a search, finding the hash.
"The drug was divided into portions and ready for distribution," police said. The suspects were taken to the Kiryat Gat police station for questioning.
The suspects told police the drugs were planted by a personal enemy.
