Police will soon close their sexual harassment investigation against former TV journalist Sharon Gal, according to a report today on Israel Radio.
Police would not comment on the report on Wednesday, saying only that they will issue an official statement once the investigation is officially finished.
Gal told Israel Radio that he never doubted that the case would be closed without any charges, and that he hopes it serves as a cautionary tale for those who he said easily make accusations.
In early October, police announced that they had finished their probe of journalist Immanuel Rosen and that there is sufficient evidence to charge him with sexual harassment. He had originally been suspected of much more serious charges of sexual assault, and even, according to some, rape.
