Policeman sentenced to 14 years after shooting neighbor

Beersheba District Court on Monday sentenced Chief Superintendent Nir Someh to fourteen years in prison after he was convicted of killing his neighbor on Kibbutz Zikim, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, the indictment against him alleged that in September 2009, he murdered Ben Tal following a dispute with his wife over an issue of trust.
In January, the court acquitted Someh from a murder charge, but convicted him of manslaughter.
