Poll: Likud takes slight lead over Labor-Hatnua; Yesh Atid shows improvement

Likud holds a slight edge over the joint Labor-Hatnua list while Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid gains some momentum, according to the latest poll whose results were announced on Tuesday by the Knesset Channel.
Naftali Bennett’s Bayit Yehudi movement remains solidly in third place while Shas, Meretz, and Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beytenu trudge along in single digits.According to the poll, if elections were held today, Likud would win 24 seats; Labor-Hatnua would gain 23; Bayit Yehudi would win 15 seats; Yesh Atid garners 12 seats; an all-Arab bloc would win 11 seats; United Torah Judaism earns eight seats; Moshe Kahlon's Koolanu would win eight mandates. Yisrael Beytenu wins seven seats; and Shas and Meretz each win six.
Eli Yishai's party would fail to win the minimum four seats to gain entry into parliament, the poll indicates.
