Poll: Shelly Yacimovich leads among center-left voters

A survey conducted by Israel Radio on Thursday shows that among center-left voters, Labor leader Shelly Yacimovich leads with a very large margin over former prime minister Ehud Olmert, former Kadima leader Tzipi Livni, opposition leader Shaul Mofaz and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid.
The findings are base on a telephone survey conducted on October 30 among 400 people, with a sampling error of 4.9%.
According to the poll, 31% of voters would prefer to see Yacimovich lead a center-left bloc with three other figures; former Kadima leader Tzipi Livni, opposition leader Shaul Mofaz and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid.
A combination of center-left leaders without former prime minister Ehud Olmert appeared to be the most popular option, according to the poll.
According to the same poll, the bloc right of center left remain divided regarding the Likud-Beitenu union, with 29% against of the merger and 26% expressing no opinion.
