Pope prays for victims of attacks in Egypt and Manchester

Pope Francis led prayers on Sunday for the victims of an Islamic attack on a busload of Coptic Christian pilgrims in Egypt as well as victims and families of the Manchester attack.
Speaking to tens of thousands of pilgrims in St. Peter's Square gathered for his weekly prayers, the pope also spoke about celebrating the World Day of Social media and urged that it be used to spread truth.The pope poses regularly for "selfies" with pilgrims who flock to his weekly audiences wielding smartphones, while his English- and Spanish-language Twitter handles have more than 23 million followers.
Francis last year called the Internet, social media and text messages "a gift of God" if used wisely.
