President Peres offers condolences to Spain train crash victims

President Shimon Peres sent a letter of condolence on Thursday to the King of Spain expressing his distress over a train crash in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, which left at least 78 people dead.
In the official letter, Peres provided his "deepest sympathy to the families of the victims," and on behalf of the people of Israel, he offered prayers for a "full and speedy recovery for those Wounded by this terrible disaster."
The president concluded his letter, wishing victims of the tragic train crash "fortitude and courage."
