Almost four months after taking office, President Reuven Rivlin launched an official, English-language Twitter account under the handle @PresidentRuvi. Within the first 30 minutes of the initial tweet, Rivlin's account already had over 50 followers, with the number constantly growing. He has had a Hebrew-language twitter account since October 2012.
