Prosor chides UN for considering Israel on same blacklist as designated terrorist groups

Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, chided the UN for considering to place Israel on the same blacklist as designated terrorist groups, following UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's decision not to place the Jewish state on a list of states and armed group who violate children's rights during conflicts.
"It's great that the UN decided not to submit to the edicts of terrorist organization and Arab states, and not include Israel on the blacklist along with groups like Islamic State, al-Qaida and the Taliban," he said.
Prosor called on Ban to recognize terrorist groups in Gaza and put and end to the destruction they cause the public "by preventing humanitarian aid, firing weapons from population center and using innocent civilians as human shields."
"Instead of publishing thousands of reports and lists against Israel, the UN should unequivocally condemn the terrorist organizations operation in the Gaza Strip," he stressed.
