Protest in Beersheba against decision to stop Pride parade

Around 1,000 people are currently demonstrating in front of the municipality building in the southern city of Beersheba, in protest against the city's decision to not allow the passage of the Pride parade on the main boulevard in the city, Army Radio reported on Thursday.
The local police had received what it described as "credible threats" of violence against the parade. The parade itself will not take place, due to the restrictions.
