Organized carpools to and from Jerusalem will be prohibited between Saturday, 6:00 p.m. and Sunday on midnight, the Ministerial Committee for Coronavirus Regulations announced Friday.
The restriction will not apply on approved carpools intended for employees reaching their work places and children making their way to schools.
Public transportation will be completely stopped.
Violations of this restriction may lead to a NIS 5,000 fine.
