Putin orders increased security nationwide after bombings

Russian President Vladimir Putinon Monday ordered law enforcement agencies to increase securityin the southern city of Volgograd and nationwide after twodeadly bombings in Volgograd, the Kremlin said.
Putin issued several instructions to a committee thatcoordinates counterterrorism efforts "to strengthen securityRussia-wide and specifically in the Volgograd region," theKremlin said. It did not describe the instructions.
