SINGAPORE - An earthquake of magnitude 6.8 struck 83 km. west-northwest off the East Timorese capital of Dili, the United States Geological Survey said on Wednesday.
There was minor damage but no immediate report of casualties from the quake, which struck at a depth of 143 km.
