Quarantine obligation for returning passengers extended by 14 days

The government approved on Thursday the extension of the quarantine obligation for all passengers returning to Israel by 14 extra days, a joint statement by the Health and Transportation Ministries read. 
As such, people returning to Israel from abroad will be required to enter coronavirus motels operated by the state until next Sunday, February 21. 
Exemptions and special cases will be examined by the a special committee run by the Health Ministry at the Ben-Gurion Airport.
