Ra'anana resident indicted for threatening to assassinate Netanyahu

The Petah Tikvah District Court has indicted Eliezer Laniv, a 28-year-old from Ra'anana, for threatening the life of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ynet News reported Sunday.
According to the indictment, Laniv called the police and threatened to assassinate the prime minister "because he hates him." The suspect has been transferred for psychological evaluation to determine whether he is fit to stand trial.
