Rahat mom who murdered 3 of her kids to undergo psych exam

A Rahat woman suspected of murdering three of her young children will be sent for psychiatric evaluation to determine whether or not she is fit to stand trial, the Beersheba Magistrates Court ruled on Thursday.

The court also ordered the mother’s remand extended until the 30th of September, by which point the state will be required to present a ruling from a psychiatrist over whether or not the mother can stand trial.

Negev District Police said Thursday that the mother has already linked herself to the killings, and that they are confident she played a key role in the crime.
