The railway section between Herzliya and Binyamina will be closed from midnight Wednesday morning through 4 a.m. Sunday morning for infrastructure and development works, according to Israel Railways.
All of the stations at Beit Yehoshua, Netanya, Hadera West and Caesaria-Pardes Hana will therefore shut down during this period, the company said.
Israel Railways has instead hired 50 private buses to serve the region, which will be operated by Egged at the request of the Transportation Ministry. The buses will pick up passengers at the Tel Aviv Central Bus Station and Arlozorov Station and offer them direct service to Hadera and Haifa Hof HaCarmel, according to Egged.
Because the buses are private lines, they cannot stop at intermediate stations.
The normal daily public bus routes in the peripheral and intermediate areas will likely experience a heavy load during this time, Egged spokesman Ron Ratner said.
