Red Cross car hit by bomb in Gaza; no injuries

Hamas security officials said that a roadside bomb exploded near a Red Cross convoy as it passed through the northern Gaza Strip Thursday.
AnneSophie Bonefeld of the International Committee of the Red Cross said noone was hurt in the blast, but one vehicle was damaged. There was noimmediate claim of responsibility.
Hamas security officials said the bomb went off as four Red Cross cars were driving about half a mile (one kilometer) south of Israel's Erez border crossing. They said police were pursuing a car seen fleeing the scene.
