Reformist rival: Ahmadinejad 'downgraded' Iran

The main pro-reform candidate in next week's presidential elections said on Wednesday that Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has harmed Iran's international standing by questioning the Holocaust. Mir Hossen Mousavi spoke during his first head-to-head debate with President Ahmadinejad, which was broadcast across Iran. He said Iran has been "downgraded" in the eyes of world by Ahmadinejad's firebrand style and statements. Just hours earlier, Ahmadinejad called the Holocaust a "big deception" that Israel uses to sway international support.
