Habayit Hayehudi's membership drive committee decided Wednesday night to hold a primary for its chairman and Knesset slate for the next election. The primary will mark the first time that Habayit Hayehudi and its fore-runner, the National Religious Party, elected its chairman and MKs in a primary. The primary will be preceded by an extensive membership drive. Habayit Hayehudi leader Daniel Herschkowitz said the move would "return religious Zionism back to its rightful place in Israeli politics."
