Remand extended of manslaughter suspect in deadly fireworks explosion

The Petah Tikva Magistrates Court extended the remand of a 42-year-old man on Thursday suspected of manslaughter in the fireworks explosion that left two dead on Tuesday.
The suspect, whose name remains under gag order, was arrested and remanded on Tuesday, his remand was extended by five days on Thursday.
The warehouse located in the central town of Porat was stockpiled with fireworks and allegedly operated without proper permits before it erupted on Tuesday killing Amir Abed al-Malik Takrori, 24, and Anas Abu Abed, 17. Seven others were injured in the blast the cause of which is still under investigation.
