CAIRO - Al Jazeera reported on Saturday that there were 26 dead and more than 40 wounded in Benghazi's Jala hospital after the eastern Libyan city was bombarded.
It did not give further details.
Rebels said forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi bombarded the city on Saturday. The Libyan government has said it was respecting a ceasefire it announced on Friday and said rebels were raiding villages and towns to draw in the West.
