Report: Amman asking for more water from the Jordan river

The Jordanian government has asked for an increase of seven million cubic meters in its annual allocation of water from the Jordan river, according to Israel Radio on Wednesday.
Allocation quantities are set by the 1994 Israel-Jordan peace treaty, and grant Jordan an annual allocation of 50 million cubic meters.
