Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef has been sedated and placed on a respirator because of breathing difficulties, Israel Radio reported early on Monday morning. His cardiologist Dr. Dan Gilon said that the improving trend that was seen in Yosef's condition has stopped and that he is suffering from infections.
