Report: Egypt angry over Israel's treatment of envoys

Egypt is demanding an apology from Israel over its treatment of the country's representatives in east Jerusalem, Army Radio reported Thursday.
The Foreign Ministry in Cairo summoned Israeli Ambassador to Egypt Yaakov Amitai, and field a complaint that police removed three Egyptian diplomats from evening mass on Easter in Coptic church in east Jerusalem.
The police has said that is not aware of the incident and that it is under investigation.
According to Army Radio, Jerusalem responded saying that this was an act of misconduct by police officers, and Deputy Foreign Minister Ze'ev Elkin has apologized.
However, Egypt was not satisfied and had demanded a written apology.
