Report: IAF plane turns back after technical problem

An Israeli Air Force light transport aircraft turned back shortly after taking off from Tel Aviv's Sde Dov Airport to the southern base of Nevatim after pilots discovered a technical problem, Israel Radio reported.

According to the report, the plane landed safely with no injuries or damage reported.

The IAF is investigating the circumstances behind the event.
