Report: Israel accepted to anti-illicit funding body FATF

JERUSALEM - Israel has been accepted as a member of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), a global inter-governmental body dedicated to combating money laundering and terror financing, the Israeli justice minister said on Monday.
FATF membership could enhance Israel's appeal to foreign investors and its influence over policymaking against regional foes like Iran, whose practices have been under scrutiny from the Paris-based organization.
