Israel is to host the next round of compensation meetings for the individuals killed by the IDF on the Mavi Marmara ship, according to Turkish daily Hurriyet quoting a senior Turkish diplomat.
The diplomat did not provide a specific date or venue for the second compensation meeting but he said that the meeting "would not take weeks" to take place. A first round of meetings between Turkey and Israel was held in Ankara earlier this week and included discussions for compensation for the nine people killed on the Mavi Marmara.
After the Ankara meeting an Israeli official said “It was a good meeting. We agreed on all aspects, including an agreed text,” adding that a joint text was prepared but not released.
