Report: Israeli among four tourists killed in Nepal snowstorm

An Israeli was among four tourists killed during a snowstorm in the Himalayan region of central Nepal, AFP reported.
Three others, including two Polish and one local Nepali were killed.
Local police official Ganesh Rai told AFP that "Among the dead are two Polish trekkers and one Israeli. A Nepali was also buried by the snow."
The report states that more than 100 other trekkers remain out of contact, raising fear for their well-being.
Cyclone Hudhud has affected the region bringing heavy rainfall and storms, making treks, popular this time of year, especially dangerous.
Last week, two Israeli tourists were killed in a rafting accident in Peru. The two were youngsters were traveling as part of the common post-army trip to South America many Israelis take.
Nepal and many Asian countries are also popular destinations for young Israeli travelers.
