Report: Kurdish activists declare 'intifada' against Assad

Kurdish activists in Syria declared "intifada" against the Syrian government after at least four mourners were killed when Syrian security forces opened fire on a funeral procession for Meshaal al-Tammo, London-based Asharq Al-Awsat reported Sunday.
According to the report, Kurdish activists said the apparent assassination of Tammo would result in a Kurdish "intifada", or violent resistance.
"The gates of hell have been opened on these gangs," Kurdish activists said according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
"The last nails will be quickly hammered in their coffin."
