Report: Police officer who shot teen Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO in resignation talks

The police officer who shot and killed unarmed black teenager Michael Brown in August, setting off prolonged protests in Ferguson Missouri, is in the final stages of resignation talks, CNN reported Thursday, citing sources close to the talks.
Darren Wilson's resignation hinges on whether or not a grand jury rules to issue an indictment against him for the shooting of the teen, according to the report.Wilson could announce his resignation as soon as Friday, the sources told CNN, when the grand jury meets and could potentially decide on an indictment.
Brown has expressed willingness to resign in order to ease tensions and take pressure off of Ferguson Police, but has feared a resignation would be taken as an admittance of guilt while the grand jury is still deliberating, the report added.
