Report: Rocket hits open area in south; no damage or injuries

A rocket from the Gaza Strip slammed into an open area in the south, Israeli media reported on Tuesday morning.
According to the reports, a code red warning was sounded in the areas surrounding the southern Gaza Strip.
So far, no damage or injuries have been reported.
An IDF spokesperson could only confirm that there was a code red warning and that residents in the Sha'ar Hanegev region reported hearing blasts.
Police are conducting sweeps in the area.
