Report: Smoke detectors on EgyptAir flight sent warning signals before crash

Sensors located at the front of EgyptAir flight 804 detected smoke and sent warning signals before plunging into the Mediterranean,  the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.
Sources familiar with the aircraft told the publication that the revelation indicates a failure with the on board flight-control system, which could have led to the plane's collapse mid flight..
An EgyptAir jet carrying 66 passengers and crew from Paris to Cairo disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean on Thursday in a crash that Egypt said may have been caused by a terrorist attack.
