Report: Summer vacation for kindergartens, primary schools to be cut to one month

Education Minister Shai Piron is reportedly expected to announce on Thursday a plan to shorten the summer vacation for kindergartens and primary schools to one month.
According to the plan, students will study all through July and will only go on vacation in August. The changes are to take effect in the current school year.
The July educational activities will not be mandatory, and will be gradually implemented.
