Report: Terms of proposed Israel, Hamas deal would have one-year ceasefire

A proposed ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas would see Qatar pay for salaries of Gazan workers and electricty for the Strip in exchange for one year of calm, Lebanese outlet Al Mayadeen reported Thursday.
Qatar would join Egypt in paying for the salaries. In addtion, a waterway between Gaza and Cyprus, overseen by Israeli security, would be established, the outlet said, citing its own reporters.
The pan-Arabist television network reported details of a truce between the sides in late July, but no accord was struck at the time.
