Report: Yishai approves 1,600 housing units in Ramat Shlomo

Interior Minister Eli Yishai approved an additional 1,600 housing units in the Ramat Shlomo neighborhood of Jerusalem, which is located over the Green Line, Army Radio reported on Thursday. Last week, Yishai approved over 900 units in Har Homa, drawing the ire of the United States and the European Union.
According to the report, the interior minister was expected to approve in the coming days an additional 700 housing units in Pisgat Ze'ev and another 2,000 in Givat Hamatos.
