Revealer of nuclear secrets Mordechai Vanunu indicted for TV interview

Mordechai Vanunu, the former nuclear technician at Dimona who served an 18-year prison sentence for revealing information about Israel's clandestine atomic program in 1986, was indicted on Sunday for violating the terms of his parole, Channel 2 reported.
The indictment, filed in the Jerusalem Magistrate’s Court, alleged that he violated the terms of his release during a September interview with Channel 2 news.

It also claimed violations regarding meetings he held and moving his residence without notifying the authorities.

After his arrest in September, he emerged from a court hearing telling the press outside the courtroom that he charged State Attorney Shai Nitzan with “abusing him.”
