'Rico' Shirazi remanded for 5 days after cocaine found in his hotel room

The remand of known mob leader Aryeh 'Rico' Shirazi, who was arrested Tuesday after police found cocaine and hashish in his Eilat hotel room, was extended by five days during a hearing at the Eilat Magistrate Court Wednesday. Shirazi's girlfriend Anna Fetovsky was also remanded for five days. Shirazi was arrested only two months ago under suspicion that he and his son Shai were involved in the murder of Arthur Matayab, a known criminal who was stabbed in the back outside of the Ikea furniture outlet in Netanya's industrial zone. Shirazi was released to house arrest several days after that incident.
