Rights group: Death toll in Syria's Hama rises to 27

BEIRUT - Syrian security forces killed 27 protesters in the city of Hama where tens of thousands had been demonstrating against Syrian President Bashar Assad on Friday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
"There are also scores of wounded and the death toll may rise," the Observatory's Rami Abdulrahman told Reuters.
The rights group had earlier said that 20 people had been killed.
